turn back the clock and be prudish |
I personally agree with John Roberts: Mississippi law to ban abortion after 15 weeks was good and had to be upheld, but it was not a case of overturning Roe V Wade because Roe V Wade is about abortion not about the weeks, Mississippi Law does not deprive women of a quick abortion but of the right to kill the baby when it is half shaped in the womb, 15 weeks is still 3 months and an abundant half.
Abortion can still be done as a day after pill, as a contraceptive after pregnancy, so there's no real reason in this case to put Roe V Wade in the motivation of the judge, that should be done for Alabama's law that wasn't brought to the Supreme Court for this reason, if a leftwing group brings to Court Alabama's law that bans abortion always in that case Roe V Wade has to be discussed, because that's the case.
To discuss it for Mississippi's law is not "spot on" it is a conservative forcing. It is perhaps an exercise because the very conservative Judges want to hurry up banning Roe V Wade and took this occasion.
I think the draft leak is exaggerated and it may not, that draft, be the final outcome of the case.
Certainly banning abortion will change attitude to sex because abortion is used as a matter of fact very often after consensual sex, it is untrue it is used only for tragic situations of women raped. Some people just don't like the society that comes out an outright abortion ban: which means sex after marriage or you are likely shaming yourself and your family, "only kiss with the boyfriend" will be back as a rule because it will, many women and men don't like this, they do want a last, final option if a woman gets pregnant and doesn't want the baby. But Roe V Wade is seen as an overreach of the Left towards very conservative States: it deprives the State legislature of the right to ban abortion.
Likely Roe V Wade is gone, because the Court cannot back down for the mob, it may be that they say "this is it, I am the judge and you are the mob" because even if it true this wasn't the final decision any change would look like a surrender to the mob that the Court for its image cannot do.
Lately I have even heard girls say they have sex with their boyfriends not to be dumped but they don't really like it. Society will change, who knows whether we'll be happier or more depressed?
In California they want to kill newborn babies, to legalize what they call perinatal abortion, it's all a bit disgusting, all in all the Left always manages to disgust me more than the Right - the Democratic Party destroyed what was good in it and made itself unvotable -. Only one point against Alito's draft ruling you can find it here on politico: I don't believe the viability thing difference is baseless, of course there's difference between a foetus that cannot survive outside the womb, cannot even breathe like a tadpole and baby with heart and lungs who can survive outside of the womb, like a frog. But you may think the fetus is a human being etcetera.
I think if that chump of Obama hadn't changed the rule for electing Supreme Court Justices for the sake of electing extreme leftwing judges who would never take 60 votes we wouldn't have this Court, but Obama the chump did it, AOC the chump wants to abolish filibuster and then you keep them the Republicans doing what they like and banning abortion in California too (they'll find the way). Now explain to me 6 months before MidTerm Elections that every single poll says the Republicans will hugely win to take back House and Senate, now for 6 months AOC wants to ban Filibuster, then when the Republicans take the Congress in just 6 months - or does she hope to pack the Court in 6 months this idiotic Hispanic woman? what the hell does she think she can do? - the Republicans will be able to swipe away leftwing culture. Fuck off Obama. Yes, white guys wrote the Constitution and yes a black man and a hispanic woman are destroying it a this is the result: Roe V Wade is overturned I am afraid: you're idiots get over it.
