First of all they miss one point: they think that not to go to church on Sunday or not to identify strictly with a house of worship means finally "they got rid of us" and we are not christians anymore (which is what they wish) INSTEAD me, who am Italian National so a Westerner but not an America national, I don't go to church it's years and being raised as a catholic today I'd rather see myself as a first generation protestant - because I think the catholics break the first commandment and I am convinced my interpretation of the Bible is more honest than the pope's (he breaks the First Commandment and he knows it) - they think I'm not a christian anymore instead I'm still a christian and certainly I don't like pedophilia.

The majority of the Americans are still protestants because Protestantism gives the theologic base for freedom.
