I hope you don't think I abandoned you in these days because I gave up my loveliest English website - or rather "website in English" - for a while. I have written a lot on the Italian website - or rather on the website in Italian - because there was the very important election of the President of the Republic in Italy and I wanted desperately to give a hand to place a Right-winger or a Conservative in the Palace of the Quirinale.
Well, it went the worst way possible instead.

Premise: Mario Draghi was appointed Italian Prime Minister by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella - CentreLeftwing - that had to be succeeded by a new one, that had to be elected, according to me among Right-wingers and Conservatives see here, but Salvini, invited at Draghi's table, accepted to join the Government with the left-wingers and then gave up trying electing a President of the Right, duping and cheating the other Right-wingers for the sake of staying there at the big table, eating and destroying Italy under the control of Mario Draghi, but Draghi wanted to be President of the Republic instead of PM, though the politicians at his table preferred to keep the situation exactly as it was, that is, with Draghi PM and Mattarella President for fear that moving Draghi from the Premiership position would mean a reshuffle and some of them may lose the seat.
So Draghi lost and Salvini lost as well, but Draghi knows it, Salvini burned by his envy of his party colleagues, Giorgetti, and of the coalition colleague, Meloni, in order not to have them ahead of him in the coalition and in the Party, did not vote for the Right-wing candidate Nordio, because he was proposed by Meloni and not by him, and did not vote for Draghi who promised to make Giorgetti of the League Party Premier thinking Salvini would be happy, instead he was just envious.

But his pigs, fed too much and too well, treated him for what he is: a swineherd, who has to stay there and continue to feed them at the manger: they didn't let him move to the Quirinale to avoid a banal reshuffle. According to some, this would be - sic - "the government of the best" a Government where only Party Leaders count....Ahh ...This in my opinion is Animal Farm instead.
But since the pigs didn't send him to the Quirinale because they were afraid that no one would keep the manger as well as he does, will Draghi keep them all? Or will he start slaughtering some for Carnival? And it won't be the Lamorgese, oink oink, to be slaughtered, it will probably be Salvini to be culled, because Draghi no longer needs him and the Establishment doesn't like him, at all, and now he can be slaughtered, even to Berlusconi Salvini is now of no use and as for "the Center Right-wing Coalition" Berlusconi has just closed it down. The Center-Right was there to make Silvio Berlusconi Prime Minister and then to make him President of the Republic, that's enough, it has exhausted its functions, Berlusconi won't help economically or politically Salvini any longer, so he's gone, the last task he had to do, to appoint Berlusconi at the Quirinale Palace as President of the Republic he has failed it, and Forza Italia wants to stay with the PD and possibly with Renzi not with him and Meloni anymore: Berlusconi has just endorsed a new election law, that simply destroys the coalitions of parties, every and each Party must run alone and counts alone, there's no coalition prize anymore source.
If Salvini had placed Nordio or another of his men at the Quirinale, or even Berlusconi, he would have returned to the table as a winner: more powerful Nordio, more powerful Meloni and more powerful he too, he would have chased Lamorgese out of the Government. So probably Draghi instead ... will chase him now. Who else?
